Play Hum StudioRatings start from our own playtest score and move toward players' ratings as they come in.
We make small cozy, puzzle and arcade games that play right in your web browser, on a phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to install. Some are calm places to spend five minutes, like a moonlit greenhouse or a koi pond; others are quick puzzles to think through, or fast arcade runs to beat your best. All of them are still in development and are being shaped with a small group of playtesters.
KnotEye Studios is a small independent studio. We tie together simple ideas (a robot, a greenhouse, a slice of toast) until they become something you want to play again tomorrow.
We'd rather make a game that leaves you smiling than one that keeps you scrolling. Every game here is in development, and we're building them one knot at a time.
Playtesters get to play every game in development and send us ratings and notes. Email us a line or two and we'll add you to the next batch.
We send invites in small batches, so it can take a few days.
Games should leave you feeling better than before you played. So we tie ourselves to a few simple rules.
Hum is a series of small voice-and-music experiences: hum a tune, sing a note, and watch the world answer back. No reading needed, no wrong notes, just a playful way to make sound together.
Early days, and the name may change.
We're independent, so every coffee helps us keep making games the slow, careful way. Donating is always optional, and every game will be made with the same care either way.

Before the studio and every game above, there was Clicky: the very first game Theo Dykhorst, KnotEye’s creative director, ever made. A tiny tap game, kept just as it was.
