HOLD anywhere to fire your tether at the highlighted clamp. RELEASE to let go and fly. Let go on the upswing for height; the timing has a little grace either side.
Keep holding while you fly and you catch the next clamp the moment it is in reach. Grab again quickly to chain a FLOW combo, which multiplies shards.
Four stages: escape The Deep, climb The Elevator cable, cross Open Space (low gravity, you drift) and climb The Ship (heavy gravity near the warp core). Each stage has its own physics, told to you on the stage card.
The Murk chases you through every stage: a flood, smog, a void storm, an engine wash. Touching it or falling off the bottom fails the stage. Reaching a stage's goal saves your progress. Replay any reached stage from the Journey Map for a better time and more stars. The pause button is always top centre.
